Basement Board Up

This picture illustrates a household fire resulting in a basement window being blown out.  SERVPRO of High Point boarded up the window to protect contents from further damage and to prevent weather, and wildlife from entering the premises.  This particular fire was caused by a dryer in the basement where the lint trap had not been cleaned out for years.  Did you know that SERVPRO of High Point does dryer vent cleaning?  It is a fairly short process and could of prevented a fire like this from happening.  Lint build up in dryers is one of the many causes of house fires.
